The Founders
Mr. Saad Waghu
An entrepreneur from a young age of 21, Saad successfully operated multiple businesses, ranging from catering, event management and tourism, before making his foray into real estate in 2015.
He entered the Turkish real estate market during the peak of pandemic in 2019 and quickly understood the nuances of the market before identifying a gap that led to him founding Casa Viva, Turkey in 2023. The company envisioned to providean end-to-end platform for new entrants/immigrants into Turkish real estate market. This includes, scouting the best property, completing the entire process, filing for TRC/Citizenship right up to renting and managing the properties, Casa Viva handles it all expertly.
During his tenure as a realtor, he has executed a range of transactions right from selling complete buildings, commercial offices, plots and boutique homes, earning himself a strong reputation in the local Istanbul real estate market.
Over the years he has gained in-depth experience across all segments of the real estate industry, such as leasing, sales, property management, legal assistance and local government liasioning.
Currently, he leads a team of agents and consultants with deep understanding of the local market and focuses on business operations apart from networking and business development to ensure best services for his family of clients.
Songül Kara has been a Turkish Realtor for almost 2 decades now, as a second generation entrepreneur she took over Somuncuogullari Inşaat real estate development company established in 1992 based out of Istanbul.
Her keen eye for detail, flair for design, deep understanding of the local laws and system and extensive network with other realtors across Istanbul has seen her transition the traditional family business into a modern establishment.
As a boutique development company that largely focuses on the Ataşehir district in Istanbul, Somungullari has delivered well over 20 independent real estate projects, making them experts with a proven track record.
Ms. Songül Kara
As a seasoned entrepreneur, Songül Kara has learnt the best business practices from her family and added her own touch to refine the business, which now spans across real estate development, project design and approvals, local liasioning, construction, property consultancy and management.
